I was once again at the May Court Club in Ottawa to help raise awareness and support for this noble Hospice. Their "Homes for the Holidays" Event featured a FREE Boutique open on all 3 days from 10am to 4pm.

Winter 2011 ~ Wool Scarves

Introducing a new collection of one-of-a-kind nuno-felted scarves made from marino wool and silk. These scarves vary little in width and length... averaging 11" in width and 56" in length.

Each scarf features subtle or major colour or design treatments from front to back and offers multiple ways of being worn. The photos below show off the versatility of wearing.

Prices starting at $95.

Winter 2011 ~ Silk Scarves

Introducing a new collection of one-of-a-kind silk and nuno-felted scarves. These scarves vary quite a bit in width and length.

Smaller versions are about 9" by 54" and start at $65.
Mediums are about 13" by 56" and start at $95.
Large versions are about 17" by 70" and start at $135.
The large shawls are about 25" by 76" and start at $165.

Pricing variations within each size range are based on the complexity of the specific design. Each scarf has subtle colour or design variationsfrom front to back and offer multiple ways of being worn. The photos below show off the versatility of wearing.

Back by popular demand... but now in larger and stranger shapes. These felt rocks are great in groups or by themselves.

Prices start at $20 with larger rocks starting at $50.

Winter 2011 ~ Vases

This new series of vases include an interesting exterior element. They stand about 11" to 16" in height and are designed to include glass liners about the same size as wine bottles.

A simple bottle cutter can be used to trim to wine bottles to size. I will include these with all vases sold at the upcoming Maycourt Sale Nov 4th, 5th and 6th. Unfortunately I can not include the glass liners in any items being shipped, but these liners can be easily found or made.

Vases start at $120.

The bracelets vary in price starting from $40 (granite) to $45 (colour). The purses from $120.

Eleanor's Shawl

A recent shawl made for a very good friend who is attending a hi-end function in Scotland next week.

Worn over a simple black dress, the shawl's Scottish Rose motif was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement made popular by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

This new series of felted scarves reminds many people of exotic leaves and flowers. They are available in short and long versions and can be worn in a variety of ways. The short versions have a reinforced slit that allows one end to pass through the other.

All scarves can be custom ordered in the length and colours of your choice.

been a lot wetter than our typical July.

So I have spent many of my rainy
afternoons felting more rock creations.

They measure from 5 inches to about
10 inches in diameter.

They all have foam cores and are
incredibly light and soft.

They range in price from
about $40 to $60.

I just finished my first ever show at the Capital Clothing Show
(The Fieldhouse at Carleton University, Ottawa May 8 - 10)

It was more successful than I even hoped it would be.

Dimensions: the tallest is about 10 inches
and about 4 inches in diameter. They can hold
standard sized drinking glasses if you wish to
fill with sand or water for flower arrangements.
